Managing editor and freelance journalist
Living between Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and Turin (north of Italy), I tell stories about design, lifestyle, sustainability, and travel. Beyond clichés and without losing sight of nuances, I love to shed light on the things that inspire me. Being fluent in Dutch, English, and Italian helps me bring depth to the stories I tell.
As Managing Editor at ELLE Decoration NL, I coordinate the quarterly print edition of the magazine. I also write (in both Dutch and English) for publications like National Geographic Traveler, See All This, ELLE Décor Italia, and Icon Magazine.
What I do

I’m experienced in working in editorial environments, managing creative teams, and monitoring deadlines. I know how to assess the work of freelance writers and give feedback accordingly.
I’ve been working as Managing Editor for ELLE Decoration NL since June 2023. I coordinate the four seasonal print magazine editions, manage the editorial calendar, communicate with freelance writers and photographers, come up with editorial angles, and monitor the budget.
I’ve also worked as editor-in-chief for Uitagenda Rotterdam.

I've also co-written a travel guide for DK Books (part of Penguin Random House).

I have 10+ years of experience in writing copy for corporate clients (blogs, branded content, website copy, press releases, brand stories, etc.). I work together with marketing & brand identity agency ZICHZACH, as well as other agencies and organisations, such as Mixus Studio and Rotterdam Festivals.
